Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is used in skin therapy to improve the texture and colour of skin and is a cost effective way to improve skin without surgery.

As IPL does not use a specific wavelength, you cannot shop for normal laser glasses using the wavelength and operating strength as a guide.  Instead you will require IPL glasses which are specially made for this type of treatment.

IPL laser works on the basis of brightness rather than specific wavelengths so you must ensure that you are using the correct eye protection.

Safety Protection Glasses hold a range of laser glasses in a IPL Green Laser Glasses or IPL Brown Laser Glasses.  Most applications use the Green IPL filter however Brown also provides the same protection but provides additional contract enhancing properties to help your visual clarity while you work.

As with all lasers, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) glasses must be worn at all times that your laser is in use, this includes your patient as well.  We carry Patient Block Out Glasses if you are not able to supply your patient with additional IPL glasses.
