Prescription Safety Glasses

At Safety Protection Glasses, we are excited to present our in-house line of prescription safety glasses.

Our line of safety glasses can help you see clearly, whether you work a demanding nine-to-five job with lots of flying debris or simply enjoy woodworking in your spare time.  They also offer the maximum amount of protection for your eyes. These glasses can be used as your primary prescription work glasses or goggles, to allow you to work in safety.

We have many different types of safety glasses to suit your needs.  On this page you will find our plastic safety glasses, metal safety glasses, wraparound safety glasses and rimless safety glasses.

You can also find those with specific features such as safety glasses for women or goggle safety glasses.

Our prescription safety glasses come in a range of lens forms.  These include single vision reading or distance, digital single vision reading or distance.  We also make Flat Top 28 Lined Bifocals or Varifocals.

Our prescriptions come with a 100% guarantee or we will remake it for you free of charge.

Prescriptions are also available in polycarbonate, Trivex, Glass, High Index Plastic 1.67 or High Index Plastic 1.74.

Our collection of prescription safety glasses are manufactured according to rigorous safety standards.

We have an in-house lab that allows us to create the highest quality frames for our customers. While we pay close attention to all elements of the design process, we also take special care in ensuring that safety glasses offer the maximum amount of protection.

Many of our prescription safety glasses are EN166 or ANSI approved. This will give you the confidence that your prescription safety glasses are durable.  It also means they will protect you from flying dust, sand, radiation, and flying debris. Your prescription can also be included as lenses into your favourite pair.

You can filter out based on frame style, frame features, temple features, and safety ratings. You can also select from a long list of frame colours, like blue, camouflage, matte demi, taupe, and pink.

    Yes our Manufacturing team deals with hundreds of prescriptions every day and have seen various types. If there was a problem we would contact you after you have placed the order and cancel the order at no charge if the problem cannot be resolved.

    When you select to buy prescription, using the 'Buy with Prescription' button on the model page, you will be taken to a page with lens types and coatings, once you have finished on that page select 'Next' and at the top of the next page you will see a box you can upload an image of your Prescription into.

    Upon your current pair of glasses, look along the arms (temples) and you may see a string of numbers. These indicate the glasses Lens Width Bridge Size Arm / Temple Length You can compare our glasses measurements to your existing glasses for sizing and comfort.

    EN 166 S is a robustness standard and is a specific standard for safety glasses. EN 166 F is rated for higher levels of protection than S. almost all of our frames and lenses meet this higher standard.

    I'm interested in varifocals, how do you calculate my Segment Height?

    If you are ordering Varifocals you will need to know your Segment Height. This is a measurement specific to whichever frame you are looking to buy. To get the segment height we recommend that you purchase a non-prescription version of the frame you have chosen, take the measurements, and then return the glasses to us for a refund and begin a new order for your new prescription pair with the correct segment height.

    Yes we can, make us aware of your requirement in the 'Additional Notes' section, or otherwise upload an image of your prescription with the prism values visible.

    What is the difference between Single Vision and Digital Single Vision?

    Digital Single Vision lenses are made using a more modern manufacturing process by which we can reduce the distortion around the edges of your lenses, which is more common in stronger prescriptions over +/- 3 spheres

    Yes, we offer a selection of tints viewable when you select the 'Buy with Prescription' button. We even offer Transition tints that change depending upon the light.
